The Wooster Inn: Comfy, Cozy, and Delicious!
Located on the outskirts of The College of Wooster campus, The Wooster Inn is a large cottage with a very homey feel. The rooms are a nice size and very comfortable, the servers are all nice people, and the restaurant downstairs is phenomenal. It's just a minute's drive into historic downtown Wooster, and the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course is right next door. Rooms tend to go quickly from May-August, so make your reservation while you still can.
The restaurant at The Wooster Inn is very classy, and the food is delicious. Houseguests are welcome to a continental breakfast, but anyone can join you for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch. Recent menu items include turtle soup, a lemon caper salmon croissant, crab cakes & fried green tomatoes, and chorizo-encrusted walleye caught fresh in Lake Erie. The dining room overlooks the golf course next door, which is also open to guests, and you are so close to the campus that you are free to wander around and photograph the college's beautiful Neo-Gothic architecture.
