Historic Downtown
The earliest construction in Edmond occurred along Broadway near the 1st and 2nd Street area. Facades whose construction was commemorated routinely bear dates from the Victorian era, with work in stone and cement first beginning in the 1890s. Today, the area retains its ancient vitality, due in large part to dedicated tenants including attorneys and other entrepreneurs who have seen fit to preserve the original appearance of Edmond's Historic Downtown.
