When considering all the new construction in Edmond, most opinions are bound to recite the latest restaurant, megastore, department chain or supermarket, but on many street corners, and elsewhere on boulevards and bylanes, visitors can expect to see some new image. A small copy of the Statue of Liberty stands alongside the First Christian Church, while a pair of sprinting geese attempt flight a little farther up the lane. On 1st and Broadway in the old heart of downtown, every corner is graced with a sculpture depicting Edmond's way of life.
