Apart from the many acts that have played here since it was built as part of the MAPS program, the Ford Center is now the home of the Oklahoma City Blazers, the CHL champs of many of the past 12 years. When the Blazers are not playing, you might see such acts as Cher, Tim McGraw, ZZ Top, or even the Xtreme Cyclists playing to packed houses in the ultra-high ceilings of our newest venue.

good Indian buffet

This is a newer Indian restaurant located in a strip mall on N. May. Don't let its modest setting fool you -- once you step inside, it's quite posh-looking. The food quality varies -- maybe they haven't hit their stride yet. Sometimes everything tastes fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. Other times, dishes like aloo (fried potateoes) and palak (creamed spinach) taste greasy and bland. Still, the buffet is large enough that you are sure to find something tasty. There is a good variety of meat and vegetarian dishes as well as the usual sides -- naan, pakoras, and an interesting green bean and corn pancake (not sure what it's called) that is delicious when dipped in the green mint chutney.

National Cowboy Hall of Fame...

National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center is my favorite place in Oklahoma City. It is filled with beautiful works of art about cowboys. In the gardens behind the Hall of Fame are the graves of famous bucking broncs and rodeo bulls.

Last time I went to the Omniplex it was called the Kirkpatrick center and did not have the dome finished yet. Haven't seen a movie in the Omnidome theater here but I've seen movies in other theaters like this one and it is a great experience. It is a great place for kids because I remember lots of hands on interactive exhibits that were very educational. It is a great museum complex.
