I was here for two (2) weeks during the summer of 1976. I just couldn't believe how hot and humid it got.

Plus there's crickets that get into your house and car and are impossible to find. They also keep you up all night with their chirping noise.

There's also this red/orange dust that get into everything and put a stain on white cloth.

Although I found the weather inhospitable, the people were very friendly.

I think I took pictures too and when I find them, I'll post them here.
