The interior of the Mid-Continent Building might seem a bit gaudy by today's standards, but today's builders are seldom worried about importing a vast tonnage of marble and incorporating it into the lobby's architecture. Certainly the details as seen from the outside are enough to convince the idle spectator of the posh interior, but first-hand inspections generally enforce a sketch in one's journal, or at least a mental note of the beautiful interior. Visitors are encouraged to take pictures, and the management would delight even more for you to sign an extended lease.
