Plaza Inn & Suites at Ashland Creek

Located on Ashland Creek, literally a 3 minute walk from the downtown is the Ashland Plaza Inn, one of the nicest hotels I have been to that allow all pets up to 60 lbs for an additional $25/night (& kennel references for any that are larger). However, if your dog (or cat) is just fat, but not huge, they will allow you to stay. Or at least they allowed a friend's obese golden lab. They will also provide you with a map of local dog parks

If you are not a traveler with pets, I'd still recommend it (unless you are afraid of dogs). The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly and they offer the following complimentary snacks/meals: breakfast, early evening snacks, wine & cheese hour with local wines (Thursday, Friday & Saturday), and late night snack (fresh baked cookies and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches)

Unique Quality: A nice pet friendly hotel that over feeds you.
