Stylish Comfortable Gem

It started in the lobby. It's simply cool. And then Michael at the front desk was sweet and helpful. And then he handed us a key, like a real key, not a key card. On our way up to the room we admired the clean, simple, classic but modern details and then we opened the door to our room and were so happy. It isn't huge, which we liked, but it had everything you needed right where you needed it. The room and bathroom were spotless and perfectly decorated.
We loved the location and the cafe just off the lobby. It is all perfectly cool as the owner of School House Electric owns this hotel and his impeccable eye for what is classic and current is evident in every detail.
Well priced and perfect for us. We will most certainly be back to the charms of Astoria and the Commodore Hotel!
