A room with a view

A charming hotel with elegant decor. This is a boutique hotel in the center of downtown Astoria but is small and welcoming. Located downtown steps away from all the local specialty shops (music, books, theatre, restaurants, waterfront, and of course coffee) you get a great room w/ a view of the Astoria Column, downtown, and the Bridge through large windows. The beds are very comfortable and most rooms have various other amenities like fire place or a living room. As a guest you also recieve a free glass of wine and hot breakfast buffet at "Schooners" a great restaurant across the street. This place is working on a cocktail lounge downstairs as well. I enjoyed nice conversation with the friendly staff at the hotel and local eateries. For $95 you enjoy a great stay in a great town. In a big city you pay an arm and a leg for this kind of service and comfort. They even have a relaxing rooftop patio with chairs, firepits and a nice relaxing view of Astoria. I recommend this place to anyone who is visiting. Spend a little extra and stay in this unique place rather then the chain hotels in town, you will not be disappointed.
