Saloon at the Geiser Grand...
Saloon at the Geiser Grand Hotel.
Nice decor, lots of sunlight in the daytime.
Room service was wonderful- right from their restaurant.
The hotel had a victorian feel, truly historic, and yet it has been updated with new fixtures.
Our room felt huge. We had a separate sitting room with a couch and tv.
The staff were courteous.
Unique Quality: I loved the stained glass and the high ceilings. Our room had a window facing the main street.

$79-$199 USD.
Unique Quality: 1889 National Landmark that features a 30-foot by 40-foot stained glass ceiling in the lobby and dining room, European chandeliers, carved mahogany pillars, and iron railings.
The hotel closed in 1968, after Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood and others stayed there during the filming in the nearby mountains of 'Paint Your Wagon.' There was a possibility that the building would be demolished after the roof caved in and pigeons moved in, but Oregon residents Dwight and Barbara Sidway, who had previously restored other historic structures, came to the rescue. After a $7 million, five-year restoration, the hotel reopened in 1998.
