Many of the attractions of Bandon are within walking distance. This town attracted me by its famous rock formations with very live names: Face rock, Elephant Rock, Cat and Kittens rock...
Cute little shops in old town were also entertaining.
Clam chowder in one of the many "fish and chips" places.
Bandon is also famous for cranberries, golf course, summer retreat for people who travel from Washington to California on coast road 101.
So far, the only thing I have been to Bandon for was to go to the West Coast Game Park and Petting Zoo-which was awesome! Other than that, I cannot personally attest to the loveliness of Bandon, but I imagine that it is just as cool as most other places on the Oregon Coast.
Bandon is a small seaside town on the scenic Oregon coast. This is where the Oregon coast is at its finest. Bandon is famous for its unique rock formations along its beaches. The Pacific Ocean is absolutely breathtaking here. This was truely one of the more special stops in my travels.
Bandon Beach...also known as Bandon By The Sea is a great spot on the Southern Oregon coast. The beaches are breathtaking and the camping is great! Here is one of the must see attractions! The Coquille River North Jetty Lighthouse!

I was in Bandon years ago and found it a really nice little seaside town. It is famous for its rocks on the beach and for its cheddar cheese. Another famous product is cranberries and you can buy all kinds of cranbery related items there. Driving around the area, you can see the cranberry bogs.
