Harris Beach State Park

If you like being outdoors but you don't exactly like the idea of sleeping on the ground this place is perfect. They have the traditional camping spots for tents and for campers but they also have yurts. If you are unfamiliar with this, thay are sort of a permanant tent. They have a cement floor, wood frame, and canvas walls. Inside is a set of bunkbeds and a futon. You can easily sleep 5 adults and more if you have children. For $22 a night that's not a bad deal. (The campsites are less than that.) They have electricity and heaters. These usually book up way in advance so have you trip planned ahead of time. This campground is very well kept, plenty of restroom and shower facilities and a playground for the kids. The biggest highlight of this campground is it is within walking distance of a beatiful sandy beach.
