Maverick Motel

I had been warned before we arrived not to expect too much of Klamath Falls and although this proved true, we were absolutely delighted with the Maverick Motel. We were on a 21 night tour in the west and this was the cheapest room on our whole trip. Because of this I was a little aprehensive but without cause, it was as good if not better than some if not most of our other stays. For a start it was easy to find in the middle of town. Reception was smart and clean and our welcome warm. The room we were allocated was on the ground, (sorry first), floor. Very clean, bright, large and comfortable. A large TV with plenty of channels and the absolutely necessary Baseball.
Unfortunately we had pre-booked all hotels on our trip and had only one night here but would gladly have stayed much longer if possible. Whether Klamath itself would have occupied us for that long is another matter although the Klamath Creamery Brewery Pub and BBQ was right next door with live music the night we were there. EXCELLENT

Unique Quality: Without having any outstanding features per se, this hotel was more than we could wish. On our trip this was the cheapest room with prices over the 21 nights ranging right through to $150 per night. For the Maverick with a King bed we only paid $35 for the 2 of us. Oh and they throw in coffee and a light help yourself breakfast too. If you're in the area, don't be put off by the price, give it a go. You won't be disappointed.
