Views of River and Side of Freeway Bridge
I have never stayed in this hotel, but I lived in Oregon City for approximately 15 years and it is difficult to find a better place to stay in Oregon City - simply because few other options exist.
For many years the Rivershore Motel was the only hotel anywhere near Oregon City that I would recommend that anyone stay in, and even though newer hotels have been built in a few areas it is still one of the best options when traveling through the area, and really still the best option in Oregon City proper.
The location is convenient (though it also heavily covered in traffic noise), as it is located next to Interstate 205 and highway 99E.
It is also located right on the shore of the Willamette River, which means that if you get a water side hotel room, you have a bit of a decent view of the Willamette River - at least in one direction. In upriver direction the Interstate 205 bridge blocks quite a bit of the view, and if you get a room up on the third floor, you don't have any upriver view at all.
The hotel is also directly across the street from the Oregon City Shopping Center, which features a popular international coffee shop, a drug store, and other places that a traveler might need.
I've had several relatives stay in this hotel over the years, and while none of those were recent visits none of them had any complaints.

The Rivershore Restaurant next door to the hotel is very popular and has a very good breakfast.
