Easy access to city and airport
Pros:
- Close to airport.
- Plane noise not a concern; Quiet in the evening.
- Better interior than the typical Embassy Suites.
- Kid friendly & breakfast included.
Cons:
- Hardly any restaurants near the hotel.
- Slow service at the restaurant inside the property.

Close to PDX
For fans of Embassy Suites properties, this is the place for you if you want to be close to the airport. We had an early morning flight out so instead of inconveniencing our friends we decided to cash in some Hilton Honors points and grab a free night here. White not the closest hotel to the terminal (a Sheraton and a Hampton Inn take those honors), fans of Embassy Suites will be happy that this property is here. We like Embassy Suites for their exemplary service, large rooms, and complimentary cooked-to-order breakfasts.
Each room at an Embassy Suites has a living/sitting area in front, a bar/mini-kitchen and bathroom, and then a bedroom in back. The living/sitting area typically consists of a comfy chair and sleeper sofa, coffee table, end tables, TV, and small dining table with chairs. The bar/mini-kitchen has a mini-refrigerator (great to keep your leftovers), microwave, and sink. The bathrooms are spacious with marble or faux-marble counters. The bedrooms have king-sized beds or two doubles, a TV, closet, and another chair. I like having two doubles so we can use one for our luggage. It makes it easier for packing and unpacking. The beds also have nice quality sheets and pillows.
Our room also had a great view of the landing field so we could watch flights come and go. We love Embassy Suites!
