McCormick Park City Campground: Camp Sites along Milton Creek

I did not stay in this campground, but it is important to note that this is most certainly the cheapest location to spend the night in Saint Helens.

The campground has several camp sites, which are a short walk in from the paved parking area near the playground. The restroom facility that serves the playground also has showers for the campground, or athletic trail users, or whoever else feels they have worked up a sufficient sweat during their visit to the park.

Unfortunately, the place does not come with its own set of disadvantages, as the campground is also quite close to Old Portland Road, which is a fairly busy road - though not a major highway any more.

The camp sites are fairly simple: an open space, usually a picnic table or so, and a fire pit of some sort.

The Campground is open for camping May 1 to October 31. There is a small envelope and self registration kiosk near the entrance to the campground.

There is no facility here that can accommodate a recreational vehicle.
