Sandy, The undiscovered town
I am a native Oregonian that grew up in Eugene. I was away from the state while I was in the Air Force from 1971 until 1992. In 2004 i bought a home in Sandy, even though I had only been through the town on my way from Bend to Portland on Hwy 26. When i went to our new home in 2004 i discovered Sandy to be a town that you can only dream of.
In Sandy I found the people to be extremely friendly and open. I found a small town that was beautiful and easy to get to from Portland. The town is divided by Hwy 26 and is very quaint and personable.
Sandy is a great place to live and I am very happy to be there.
I am currently working in Saudi Arabia and will be returning there for good in April 2005. Sandy is the dream that i have to go back to and IS the undiscovered town.
