I was looking for a location near the beach, but also near the convention center where I was going to play Bridge. I chose this hotel mostly for location. The proprieters were very nice. The only caveat is that since I was not there in the prime season, the office and pass thru to the Prom had limited hours. The hotel provides a meager cold breakfast which I declined except for a serving of OJ (Orange Juice).
You may not realize, as you gaze out over the beach, that the people on the Promenade (The Prom) can easily see into your room. So be sure to cover your privates. You may not want to be an unintentional flasher.
There are people on the Prom at all hours.
Unique Quality: There is a small refridgerator in the room, though I had to turn it on when I checked in. This is nice for beverages or if you bring home leftovers or perishibles for that picnic lunch.
The Inn also provides wireless internet access. So you can start building your VT page while still in Seaside OR.
There is a guest laundry and an indoor pool and whirlpool. Supposedly there is a sauna, but I could not get it to get hot enough.
Directions: On the Promenade (The Prom). If you have sand in your toes you have passed the Inn.
