The Stein Barn, while being named after a local family that homesteaded the Wilsonville area, is perhaps also appropriately named because it has been remodeled as a party space and has a small bar area inside. Though, it is also used to store some equipment for the parks department and in reality the facility is much as it once was.
It is a historical landmark of local interest only, and is located in the central part of Wilsonville's Memorial Park near the playground.
There are several historical markers identifying the significance of the barn and pointing out some interesting other barns in Clackamas County.
Unlike these other structures, however, Wilsonville's Stein Barn is not of particularly unusual shape or size.
