Allentown
Pennsylvania's third largest city behind Philly and Pittsburgh, Allentown has about 106,000 residents. It is just 60 miles from Philly and 90 miles from New York City. Allentown's brief historical significance arose when it temporarily housed the Liberty Bell during the British occupation of Philadelphia during the American Revolution.
Billy Joel's song Allentown is probably the most famous pop reference to this city. Allentown is also known for the Agere Corporation, Dorney Park, and Yocco's Hot Dogs.
