 I stayed at this hotel for a weekend, in their Jacuzzi Suite and only paid $180 a night. On our way up we saw dozens of restauraunts, and realised we were only a block away from parx casino. Upon checking in we noted a nice lobby with comfy looking furniture that was kept very well. Front desk staff was kind and helpful, they let us know the best restauraunts, and even gave us a list of those who had discounts available, through the hotel. When we entered the room, we were expecting a standard hotel suite. Which is basically one big room. We had entered into the living room area however, and were pleasantly suprised that they offered a "real" two room suite. The furniture in the living room was comfortable, clean. And the television was big, channels were basic...but we were barely in the room, so there was no need for many channels. Bathroom had a stand up shower, but was clean and well kept. Fully stocked with anything we could need. Lots of towels and washclothes, didnt even need to ask for more. Entering the bed room we saw the king sized bed, filled with atleast 10 pillows, soft blankets. The jacuzzi was awesome! A step up, step in jetted jacuzzi with alot of jets. Not only was this room romantic, but well appointed too. After a night on the town, eating at a nearby restauraunt with our 10% hotel discount, we enjoyed a night of gambling at the parx casino. Slept that friday night in comfort. Awoke and took a brisk walk around the grounds of the hotel. Lots of grass and walking paths are directly behind it, away from the hustle and bustle of street road. Returned at had breakfast, which was the best continental I had ever had. Bagels, toast, muffins, danishes, waffles, sausage, string cheese, yogurt, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, cereal, milk, the works. After eating breakfast we took the short 30 minute ride to the city of Philadelphia where we enjoyed learning about history, sightseeing, and fine dining. Also went shopping at the franklin mills mall which was a lot closer than I expected, about 10 minutes away.
I recommend this hotel to anyone, there is so much to do and see, dissapointment is not an option. If you want the best value for your dollar, stay here.
