Long-awaited fine lodging downtown
When my parents come to visit me in Carlisle, they enjoy staying at the comfort suites very much. The rooms are large and stately, in a dark and tranquil manner. The staff is most helpful too.
As a townie, I also appreciate that the hotel is active in community projects.
Unique Quality: For many years, the only lodging options in Carlisle were motels near the interstate exits.
When the project was announced to build a hotel downtown, many people were very doubtful as to the profitability of the plan.
But today, the hotel is often full with visitors who enjoy the possibiliity of strolling downtown and trying one of the many restaurants nearby.
