TAKE A DRIVE TO NIAGRA FALLS, NY by beaniezotzim
Niagra Falls is only a couple hours drive away. about 2 1/2 hours. My family and I went here in May 2005 and it was absolutely breath-taking! I have been to both the Canadian side and now the American side and I must say that I prefer the American side due to its remaining ode to nature. U.S. side is "Niagra Falls State Park" . With that said, the Canadian side has a LOT to offer if you aren't into the nature part of it. Its like a bustling little city on the Canadian side and a Park full of meandering trails and natural attractions on the American side. PERFECT. access to either side is quite easy, even on foot. there is a trolley that costs 2 dollars for an all day, all access wristband to where ever the trolly goes (the trolley is only on the U.S. side). casinos within walking distance, boat rides into the mist of the falls, tunnel where you can go down and behind the falls, cafes, and lookouts - This place is fun to visit on several occasions throughout a lifetime.
