THE FROGS

Okay, so my husband and I are driving around and I keep noticing these big statue-like frogs all over the place. At first I though "those must be some kind of theme restaurant or something like that" then I started to notice that they were painted all different colors and realized that they are one of those outside art projects that some cities have... like angels and cows... Erie has frogs. You can spend a WHOLE day + devoted to driving around and locating all the different frogs... seriously a WHOLE day. there are over 100 of them.
Take Me Out to the Ballpark - Jerry Uht Park

Unique, intimate, and very affordable. Jerry Uht Park, home to the AA Eastern League's Erie Seawolves, is a fantastic place to see a baseball game.
The most expensive seat is only $8.00!! There's a parking garage at East 10th and French and hundreds of free spaces on the surrounding streets.
Bleachers are $5 bucks and the rest of the seats are $6. (That's right $6 bucks - which will buy you a hot dog at a major league park)
Great place to hang out after a grueling day at the beach.
Shores and Shopping

Lake Erie is a great place for those who like to swim, sail, or just walk along the shores. The Peninsula (Presque Isle) is a really nice place to walk, bike, boat, roller blade, and swim! It's a really nice place for those who like the outdoors! Usually, when I go to Erie, though, I go to the Milcreek Mall and the plazas. I love shopping in Erie! Maybe I need to do less shopping and more exploring!
