Petfriendly?!
by geuzinge
Yes, pets "are allowed" in this hotel. But, they have to stay in the room at all times. If you need to let your dog out and you have to cross the patio, then "there is an exception". You are allowed to take the stairs and cross the patio. That's it! So sit on the patio, enjoy the view but AT ALL TIMES leave your dog (lonely) in the (also historic smelling) room!
We sat down at the patio at 8.45 pm. At 9.05 when we finally got the attention of the waiter, she lets us know that we can not order anymore because the kitchen closes at 9!
There is nothing else in the aria of 10 miles. So, with an empty stomach to bed....
Very rigid staff and absolutely PET-ON-Friendly!
Unique Quality: great views...
Directions: Falling water house
More about Historic Summit Inn
This part of Fayette County...
by ABL1958
This part of Fayette County has a strange blend of very ritzy resorts and almost run-down motels. If you're not too fussy you'll find what you need. One of the nicer places is The Summit Inn Resort, in Farmington, although it's a little more costly than others.
