Cafe Fresco is new to downtown Harrisburg's "Restaurant Row" but has been in the area at its other location across from the Harrisburg East mall for a few years. They brought the great food, coffee and atmosphere of that location and added a nice wine, martini and beer and dinner menu. They also upped the metropolitan/sophisticated quotient mood lighting and an eclectic music mix of house-jazz-euro-funk cool. Amy Welsh supplied the polychromed, Venetian-plaster walls as the icing on the cake. I always judge a place by the burgers or the pasta. Cafe Fresco gets "thumbs up" for both.
