I went to this hotel with a large group/tour for school. After getting our rooms I noticed that our particular floor was very musty smelling. When I and my roomates got to our room, we saw nothing wrong at first. Except, when I threw my bag onto the chair dust flew off from it. I shrugged at that.
When I searched the room for a plug I decided to look under the bed. What I found was not a plug but a glue mouse trap with mouse droppings and dust bunnies. Under BOTH beds. I quickly looked around the room finding more droppings by the chair.
When I informed my travel leader he quickly went back downstairs to get my room switched. It took over Two hours for him to get us a new room. During those two hours all hell broke loose.
One of the rooms that another group had smelt like something had died in their, almost like a dead skunk, there was another pair of mouse traps and their air conditioning wasn't working. Another group's room their shelf fell, dust filled the room, and more mouse traps.
When we finally got new rooms. The only thing wrong with the new rooms were that the bathroom door wouldn't lock and that there was still dust.
