Terrible hotel - don't stay here!
I travel for business all the time and I'm a Silver Hilton Honors member. I have been a member for years and have always chosen to stay at Hilton's over other chains. I am not a super particular person and this is the first review for anything (food, hotel, etc.) that I have ever written.
I highly recommend that you do NOT stay in this hotel. First, the customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I checked into the hotel for business and two hours later had a family emergency and needed to leave town. I had entered the room and placed my suitcase on the floor and left the hotel to go grocery shopping. I literally had not touched a thing in the room. When I asked to check out, the reps at the front desk told me that I would be charged for the night. I asked to speak with the manager and he made no accommodations. While I am completely aware that they have the right to charge me, it has always been my experience with Hilton's to make accommodations for those who frequent their hotels (I stay in Hilton's about 3 times a month for work). To make matters worse, the manager was rude and belittling.
In addition, the pictures you see in the photos here are much nicer than what you will experience. The hotel was dirty and the rooms were just ok. The area felt unsafe and it was farther from downtown (about 20 minutes with traffic) than I had hoped.

Not happy
I am very upset at Hilton - I am not asking to cancel a reservation, just change hotels, I am told by a cousin who lives there is in a bad area, has drive by shootings and car jacking, they wont let me change, I will NOT stay at another hilton property and will be posting on blogs, my facebook and emailing my friends to let them know of this unfortunate event
They kept my $250.00 but the internet is a wonderful thing and I will receive MORE than that in pleasure in telling others about this..........
