Raccoon Creek Campground: RACCOON Creek Camping

The campground is clean and there are a large number of sites. Bathroom facilities have always been clean and usable. I'd recommend it over anything else, because camping should be done in a tent. ;) Some of the campsites (especially the one we get) are massive. There are very few sites where you're right on top of your neighbor.

Unique Quality: WARNING: Raccoons are abundant in the campground. Make sure to anchor any food you have under the seat of the picnic table or in your car. Don't bring food in the tent. Yes, they open coolers. They're friendly and cool to watch, but they'll destroy your meal plan...
