Great Great Great

I stayed at the Netherland Inn & Spa in August of 2005. It is in a great location, close enough to the main highway to be convenient, yet far enough away to be peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, with expansive views of the hills and farms. The room I stayed in was great. It was a corner room, so I had an extra window, and we were on the 2nd floor, so we pretty much had a whole corner of the deck to ourselves. The room had been recently updated and was in very nice shape. I felt like I was in my own living room. It was neat, clean and very spacious. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and courteous, and they let us use their fax machine to conduct some urgent business. The restaurant and bar are also great. The food is excellent, though not inexpensive, and the service was good. All in all it was a great trip and I would definitely stay there again.
A Beautiful Getaway

We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night. They had a nice warm fire in the lobby, how inviting. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk gal. She checked us in and sent us on our way to our beautiful room. We were a little hesitant because of previous reviews but were very pleased. We had a room with two queen beds. This was not one of the renovated rooms but was very clean and comfortable. We ate dinner in the Bistro and we had a very good meal. We tried to contact the spa but we couldn't get through, the nice front desk gal called to see if anything available and I got in for a manicure. We will come back over and over again. We had a very pleasant experience. We live nearby and like to get away every now and again.
