Yorktowne Hotel - Nestled in the Heart of the City
This is a very old hotel and probably one of the nicest in York. The decor is rustic and the service is great. The hotel bar (Autographs) is very nice.
The ballroom is a wonderful place for wedding receptions. Book around Christmas and be sure to make your reservation for the Holiday buffet. Large buffet tables are gathered in the dining room with everything from the traditional holiday feast of turkey and stuffing to seafood and salads.
Unique Quality: Be sure not to miss the Banana Foster. It is simply delicious.
