Our alternative to the Residence Inn
Another great price when roadtripping to Newport, the Fairfield Inn is located near the Hampton Inn and just across the Blvd from the Residence Inn.
We've stayed at the Fairfield Inn twice due to the simple fact that the price is usually significantlly less than the Residence Inn or the Hampton Inn. We usually find availability at a good price compared to the Residence or the Hampton Inn, but the hotel is just as comfortable and accommodating as the others.
The entrance to the hotel is quite nice, they have a nice area with a fireplace and a small "dinning" area where breakfast is complimentary. The rooms are quite nice, all suites, with their own kitchen and living space and the nice king size bed which has always been quite comfy.
Internet is complimentary as is coffee in the room. The bathrooms are quite nice and suite us fine.
We always enjoy a good night's rest during our stays here.
Unique Quality: The large suite is nice and cozy with a sofa, small dinning table, kitchennette with fridge, cabinets, dishes, microwave. Our choice is always a king bed which allows us a good night's sleep.
