best parris island hotel
my family and i stayed here 10/20/09 to 10/24/09 to attend a parris island graduation. we could not have been happier. the hotel was 10 minutes from parris island. it is only a year old. it is very clean and the lobby as you enter is huge with a beautiful working fireplace under a plasma t v. the two room suite was spacious and comfortable overlooking the marsh. we had more than enough room. the bathroom was big and it also had a phone in case you got stuck in there. the onsight restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. the food at both was delicious. the lounge just off the lobby was great with an outdoor patio overlooking the marsh. the bartenders, griff and jason, were fabulous, they made us feel very comfortable and were very helpful with directions. the indoor heated pool was awesome. the front desk people were great also as we had to order an extra item during our stay. and coffee every morning in the lobby was a lifesaver as we headed to parris island. i would highly recomend this hotel for family's and/or singles.
