Kings Courtyard Inn, Charleston, SC - Reviews and Hotel Information

The Kings Courtyard Inn is a very beautiful old build was contructed in 1853 and went through several changes through it's years from being a Bed & Breakfast to a private home to Hotel with stores on the first floor and rooms on the 2nd. The building was renovated in 1982-1983 and returned to it's orgianl condiction. We did enjoy our stay here and any issue we had they fix with no problem. We had a problem with the wireless internet in the first room 504 which is located in the carriage house out back on the 2nd floor, so they moved us to the first floor room 402 by the courtyard where breakfast is served at 7:00am, had a problem with that due to loud men laughing at 6:30 in the courtyard as it echos through the whole hotel and cigarette smoke coming in our room from the early smokers in the courtyard, but the internet was pretty good and the bed was a king with conopy very nice room, so on we go to the next room, this one was perfect, room 108 just out side the Hottub with our 15 ft doors opening to the hottub, king size bed w/conopy, great internet connection and QUIET! So at leat we tried out a few rooms so you could pick the one that suits you best. The continental brakfast wasn't bad, fresh danishes and coffee (which you could take a togo too) Their breakfast you have to pay for is rather expensive, so try a diner around the corner by the back parking lot. The staff here is very nice and helpful os don't be afraid to ask if you have any issues.
