Right on the Water

I had a great stay here. The hotel is clean, the beds are nice, the staff is professional and friendly, and there is a beautiful fountain and a nice gym in the hotel. There are bars around the area on the island for a taste of nightlife, Morris Island Lighthouse is not far, and the beach is at your doorstep. Folly beach is one of the more "hippy-ish" beaches in the Charleston area. (Think more surfers, less tourists.) :-)

Unique Quality: Duh, it's at the beach!

Beach Volleyball

by lcleveland

Spring/Summer/Fall with Charleston Beach Volleyball and Social Club. Pickup games start around 6PM and last until dark. $5/person, anyone over 18 is welcome. All skill levels. Best idea is to play in swim trunks... the ocean is only yards away and the water is 70+ for 6 months of the year.
