On Hwy11 going towards Cowpens, keep an eye out for a sign to Furnace Mills. The small, brown sign is on the right hand side. Turn down the narrow, dirt/gravel road and watch for the rembrants of the mill on the left. It's not much to see, but is pretty all the same. There is a minute dam that sorta takes on the appearance of two miniscule water falls. And a brooke and broken water wheel also add to the scenery. Great place for photographers to practice their skills!
