Southern Hospitality
by SpaceCoastMomma
This is the true South, with true Southern Belles. I can say that as I'm from Texas and, being from Houston, I can tell you that THIS is the real South, with real Southern charm and real Southern hospitality. All women are "ma'am" and all men are "sir."
Order a sweet tea and talk to all of the smiling people that pass you on the street and actually say hello. It's ok to talk about nothing more than the weather.
This place is friendly!
Greenville is really green!!

"The natural beauty of Greenville, South Carolina"
While on a short military deployment for training, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Greenville, South Carolina.
At first, I thought Greenville was a nice catchy name. But after driving up the freeway to visit downtown, I really saw how green everything was. Construction crews were actually planting young trees in the middle of the freeway dividers during my visit!
The downtown area is growing quite a bit with new developments continuing to grow. I did have a chance to hear a local resident voice her concern of a new commercial building hurting the nice natural views of the city.
With many shops, restaurants, and scenic views blended within the city, this place makes a great stop for those traveling through or want to see a growing city balance itself between preserving its natural environment and progressive growth.
