Best Gyros in town!
by SpaceCoastMomma about Pete's: Spero's Original
This place has been around for almost 70 years, I kid you not...and they have the absolutely BEST gyro's in town. They also have fantastic hamburgers, fries...and the usual "Meat & 2" specials daily, in addition to other daily specials. Lots of seating and almost always at capacity. Down-home cooking, no frills, family-friendly, inexpensive, extensive menu. A GREAT value. I just love this place. The Gyros...TO DIE FOR!
Sights around Greenville

"Spring time in Greenville"
So many people have told me so many different things about these beautiful trees, so I am not really sure what they are ~ BUT they are gorgeous and blooming all over the city. Against the blue sky and the green of the grass, these trees are amazing in that they almost look as if the flowers are white snow falling from the branches. Spectacular! This shot was taken from the free parking garage (evenings & weekends) off of Washington Street, next to Wild Wings.
"Another beautiful tree"
Stumbled upon this beauty while walking from the Falls Park towards Cleveland Park in the Brad Wyche section of the Reedy River.
"Small waterfall in the (new!)Cancer Survivors Park"
Just behind the circular stage, where Shakespeare in the Park is performed, you'll find a new part of the Falls Park: the Cancer Survivor's Park. Signs are still up, telling visitors that it is "Opening Soon" but you can already explore it. This is a small waterfall in the park.
Just another beautiful addition to the already wonderful green space in downtown Greenville!
"Along the Reedy River, heading into Falls Park"
Just a beautiful walk, along the Reedy River, towards the Falls Park, from Cleveland Park...
"Tight-rope walkers!?"
It's not every day you see a group of people practicing their tight-rope skills in the park!
"Around town"
A young couple was getting married in the park and this horse & carriage was waiting for them...however, horse & carriage rides are available to everyone, throughout downtown, on the weekends, along Main Street.
"Children's Garden, in March"
Just an interesting little bush in the Children's Garden (aka Linky Stone Park)
"Daffodils"
The Daffodils popped up in March...so, lots of color all throughout the parks!
