We are going to be in HHI this Sun 4/29 thru Wed. 5/2 on a golf/eating/nightlife trip. We are from Chicago. It is a business trip (ha ha ha). We are entertaining clients who like to party! Any suggestions?
We are staying at the Port Royal Plantation near the Westin.
I hear everything closes early is that true?

Have you tried going to www.hiltonheadislandmightlife.com? They seem to have the best current info for nightlife. I have lived near HHI for a few years and found this site to be very informative. Oh, definatly check out Electric Piano! As far as closing early, most places are open to 3am except for Saturday they close at 2am. Hope this helps.
All of the beach is public but there are only 4 public beach access points, all the rest are private. Alder lane, Coligny Circle Beach, Driessen Beach Park and Folly Field. At these access points you will find, parking, lifeguards on duty, restrooms & showers, beach equipment rentals. The rules are posted. Metered parking and reserved for annual beach passes. If when you are in a tourist town and you follow all the other tourists to the must see places, then this is one of them. It would not be on my agenda to return. Crowds, so-so service, and ordinary food that was slightly overpriced. Some people love this type of place and return, I would not. We had thre Bar-B-Que shrimp that were so overdone that they wouldn't even come off the skewer. We also had the Seafood stir fry that really could have passed for a vegetarians dish. Very little seafood and for a $15.26(odd price) dish. The BBQ shrimp cost $17.06. What odd pricing.
Take a walk around the harbour and check out all the beautiful boats at the dock. I really liked the woodwork on this boat. Some are worth millions, you just have to take it all in and grab your camera.
