Marriott Monarch at Sea Pines

I am confident that my parents will never go to this hotel again. We have a timeshare in Orlando throught the marriott and both of my parents were extremely displeased with this exchange. The pools were small and often dirty. The sides of the pool were stained brown (they should have been white) from all fo the sunscreen and sand that were in there. Unfortunately, we also found several large insects in our room. I cannot confirm that they were roaches but they were either that or palmetto bugs. Either way it was repulsive and we had to wash all of our clothes because we were all afraid to wear 'em!

Unique Quality: Perks of this place (I always try to look at the silver lining) is that the beach is private entrace for you and you have a small walk to get there, we could actually see it from our rooms. The pool is open 24 hours pretty much as long as you are quiet, there is a nearby pizza shop which delivers, there is a trolly that takes you to harbour town (free), there are board games available for your use (free).

This was a time share condo that comes completly equipped. Two bedrooms, two baths, and a pull out sofa so it sleeps six. Full kitchen,dining room, living room, laundry room and a balcony. We were on the fifth floor overlooking the Koi stream, pools and a fair view of the ocean. The master bedroom had a whirlpool tub and a stand alone shower.

Unique Quality: pools (2), child pool, Barbecue facilities, hot tub, bike rentals,Fitness center, aqua aerobics, etc.
