Grande condos with beautiful views
I've stayed in this hotel three times and loved it every time. Bike rentals are easy at the resort and the island is very conducive to riding a bike (head toward the marina). The pools are very lushly landscaped and spacious. Pretty expensive in the height of the season, but a nice retreat in the off-season, when prices are lower.
Unique Quality: The balconies are very spacious and comfortable and look out at the ocean at an angle. The condo is laid out so that 4 adults can easily mingle in the kitchen/living area without getting in each other's way. There is a snack shop and Pizza Hut on-site if you don't want to deal with crowds for dinner.

We've booked a week at the Grand Ocean Resort of Marriott in Hilton Head, SC, for the last week of Februrary. Has anyone ever stayed there?

hey guys, me again.... :-)
i used to stay in the resort right next to the Marriott (Adventure Inn), and i can tell you that you've picked a nice place. it's right on the edge of the strip of resorts, so when you're at the beach at night, you won't have to walk very far to get away from all the lights, and the beach is less crowded in that area during the daytime, too...
it's also pretty much the newest one around there.
i hear they have nice jacuzzis :-) have fun!!!
