Older Resort Area of HIlton Head
Island Club IV is a timeshare building on the North East side of Hilton Head. We were here the middle of Aug. The weather was warm, but with the ocean breezes, you could enjoy your balcony anytime of the day. We were told this was one of the older resorts on the Island, but the accomodations were very nice. Large master suite and beautiful bedding. The spare bedroom had 2 twin beds and large mirrored closets. Full kitchen and large dining room table. Front room furniture wasn't too comfortable, but was o.k. Large T.V. unit in master bedroom and living room. There was a balcony off the living room and a second off the master suite. Table and chairs plus 2 lounge chairs on the balconies. It had everything you needed. The view from our Unit 305 was outstanding. This building is not ocean front, but we were not disappointed at all. We could see the ocean peeking through the trees, the 3 tier pool area, which was lushly landscaped as well, and a nice lagoon with a fountain and geese swimming and playing around the building at all times. You could see the turtles in the lagoon from this 3rd floor unit. We were very impressed with the lush landscaping and the 3 Tier Pool.
The pool area had a 10ft. small pool, 3-6ft pool, and a children's pool 1-2ft deep.
Plenty of lounge chairs and tables around the pool. It was never overly crowded.
They had a pebble sidewalk which led you to the beach, which was a short walk away.
We didn't use any of the other amenities, but there were plenty available, Tennis, basketball courts, bike rentals, ect.
At the beach was a shower, deck with lounge chairs, and a gazebo for guests use.
