Patriots Point is visible from almost everywhere in the Cooper River and Charleston Harbor.
We have twice stayed at the Charleston Harbor Marina which is right next to the Patriot's Point exhibit in Mt. Pleasant. Once we stayed across the river at the Charleston Maritime Center next to the Aquarium. This picture was taken in the spring of 2002
In order to get to Charleston you have to cross this bridge - visible in the pictuer above. They are at long last constructing a new bridge over the Cooper River because the old one cannot handle the traffic.
