Huntington Beach State Park: A Not To Be Missed Camping Area

Although not on the ocean, this campground is located close to the beach. It was an easy walk to the beach from our campsite, and at times we could hear the surf pounding from our camper. The main campground will accommodate RV’s or tents. However, if you are a tent camper there are also 6 walk-in-tent sites with central water for those who wish to rough it a little. The main campground offers sites with water and electrical hookups. Twenty-four of the sites also include a sewer hookup. Two handicapped sites are also available. The campground has bathrooms with hot showers, as well as a dump station for RV’s. Some sites may be reserved, and others are on a first come first served basis. Price ranges from $14.25 to $25 depending on the site and the season of the year.

Unique Quality: Here you will find nature trails, a beach, a historic home, and fishing (state license required).
