I have just returned from a trip to Grande Shores Ocean Resort. We stayed in Room 411. The room service was great, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. I can hardly wait until I can return. I would highly recommend this resort.
We spent several days at the Grande Shores and had a superb time! The rooms were spotless, and the views were magnificent. The staff did everything necessary to fulfill our requests, and were very friendly and eager to please. We dined in the restaurant Shoreline Cafe and the food was great! Definitely going back again since this is the best service we have seen in a long time!
My family and I just returned from a week long stay at the Grande Shores. Our experience was wondeful. The location of the resort is ideal! Its not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and yet close enough to all major attractions. I cannot say enough about the standard of customer service. The staff are very freindly, from the time we made our reservations to the time we concluded out trip. We found them to be willing to help and aiming to please. The condos are in immaculately clean and very well maintained. We were called in our unit shortly after check in to make sure that we were satisfied with the room! I felt like a celebrity when I recieved that call. Not only only did the front desk call for that, but when we asked for extra towels, our towels were delivered promptly followed by yet another call to make sure we received them! The roof top pool on the 7th floor and lazy river are great to spend the afternoon! There is a restaurant where you can have a buffet breakfast, pool bars and grills for snacking or luch and room service for dinner! What more can you ask for! By the way, we ate BBQ ribs and they are the best ribs I have ever eaten. We were able to purchase tickets to all major attrations and shows at the desk. My kids were thrilled because of the activites they could participate it, including a scavanger hunt and getting hair wraps.......All in all I have to say that we truely had a great time and we will most definatley go back again! We have been to the beach each year for the past 7 years and stayed at several places.....but they are no comparison to the Grande Shores!
We just returned from a great vacation at the Grande Shores!! We stayed there from July 26-30th. The check in went very smoothly. They let us use the pools etc. before check in. Held our wallets and personal belongings at the desk before check in. Let us park in the parking garage etc. Let us check in at 1:30 instead of the usual 3:00. We had a King one bedroom suite on the 11th floor. It was huge!! Had a king bed in the front room, kitchen and bathroom in the hallway separating the livingroom which had a murphy pulldown wallbed and a queen pullout sofa. It had a table and chairs too. 27'' tv. Maid sevice was good they even washed our dishes left in the sink one day! Lots of towels arranged like seashells, nice touch! Pools were as follows: Indoor pool on first floor near office. 3-5 feet deep. Kind of cool we thought. Huge spa could fit 20 people easily, very warm, kiddy pool 1 1/2 feet deep with water umbrella all inside. Also on first floor near ocean a large 200ft. lazy river ride nice and warm ocean front pool with kiddy section 1 1/2 feet deep sectioned off from main pool with a single bar. Main pool a bit warmer than indoor pool went from 3-8 feet. On the 7th floor is a smaller lazyriver 2 1/2 feet deep warm too. 4 hot tubs although one was out of order the whole time we were there. A smaller 3 foot deep pool. I think the 7th floor pools are more for kids and little ones except for the hottubs. All pools etc. were clean. Elevators were good 3 in all . All worked fine. Parking was good. Nice helpful staff. A 3 star hotel for sure. Would stay again hopefully next spring. Did not eat at restaurant so can't comment. Kids eat free Sun. - Wed. for dinner. 1/2 price for buffet nights. Lifeguard station right in front of hotel on beach. Food lion near hotel.
Stayed here for 5 nights. Got a great price. Stayed on the 11 floor Ocean view 1 bdrm condo. Room was pretty new, clean, great view of the ocean for miles. Lots of Hot tubs, lazy river on the property. Indoor pool was a little warm. Avoid the restuarant on the 1 floor. Worst food we every had. Heard the rooms on the lower floors are old, so avoid those if possible. But in general a great place for a reasonable price.
