Great for families

Our family vacations at Myrtle Beach several times a year. We have stayed at many places. We bought a timeshare with Bluegreen which owns Harbour Lights as well as 3 other resorts at Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Harbour Lights July 22-27. The first thing we noticed was a Welcome Home sign. Check-in was a little rough due to the time of day and volume of people checking in. Everything else went very well. There are hamocks, swings, fishing, bikes, 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, an owner's club, table tennis, numerous activities, too much to list. Check-in was the only time there was a crowd. Because there is so much to do at the resort there is never a line for anything. The new Hard Rock Park is being built withing walking distance and Midevil Times is also within walking distance. Broadway at the beach is just minutes away. We went down to the strip where all the partiers were at and were glad to get back to our nice quiet home away from home after each outing. The resort is beautiful and everyone was very friendly. The best part of the resort (in my opinion) is the swings that face the intercoastal waterway. I loved to watch the boats. Watch out for alligators, although I did not see any at the resort they do live in that water. We had the best Myrtle Beach vacation 5miles away from the beach. Although this is a timeshare, condos can be rented but the Bluegreen timeshare is worth the money. We were planning to stay ocean front at Sea Glass Tower next trip but now it will be hard to stay anywhere other than Harbour Lights.
