Myrtle Beach Country Music -- "Branson-by-the-sea"
by Ewingjr98
Myrtle Beach is famous as the east coast's hotbed for country music. A dozen major concert venues such as the Carolina Opry, the Beach Wagon Night Club, and the Alabama Theatre allow visitors to see country music's biggest stars past, present, and future.
The Carolina Opry began this trend back around 1986, and this town's music scene has grown so big in recent years, it now rivals Branson, Missouri, as the place to see country music concerts. With the beach nearby, I think I'd rather go to Myrtle Beach!
Don't think Myrtle Beach is just for country music fans, though. In town, various bars and clubs offer live rock, R&B, Irish folk, pop, and anything else to meet just about everyone's tastes.
Beautiful Surf!

I loved the beaches at Myrtle Beach! I went in November when it was a quiet time of year, according to the locals. Spring Break is supposed to be pretty wild...I'll have to go back someday.
Otherwise, there was never a shortage of miniature golf courses!
