Where to stay?
My family is planning a vacation for July. We would like to rent a 2 bedroom oceanfront. I am looking at a 1 bedroom at the Grand Atlantic. The reviews that I have read are mixed. Several negative comments about South Myrtle Beach being a little "rougher" We have never been to Myrtle beach and would like a place that has some things close enough to walk but we do not want to be in an area where there is a very active night life. Can anyone please help me out with suggestions or ideas of a good place to stay or have information about Grand Atlantic Thanks

I have stayed at this property and is absolutely spectacular. It is a combination hotel in one building, condo in another. I have only stayed in the hotel portion. I have recommended the place to many friends who are high end discerning travelers, and everyone has loved it.

Re: Where to stay?
This is a 2nd year going and we're going back to Baywatch in North Mytle Beach -We do go in the off season so we don't need to deal w/ the crowds but We loved it, its right on the water has great facilities w/ 1, 2 & 3 bedroom combos
check out homeaway.com you'll find a ton of condos and be able to see pictures of the units. The only caution I'd give you is these are privately owned units so some are better than others - Pictures are worth a 1000 words!
