Eating at the Beach
A seafood bistro, with a fairly good selection of fresh seafood. Medium price, with good service. Is kid-friendly early. Parking is limited after 7:00 pm. The pesto-grouper was good as were teh fresh crab-cakes.

The aquarium has walk through glass tunnels where the sharks and fish swim above and beside you. The kids were very happy and in awe with this.
There is also a conveyor belt so you can stand and it will slowly take you through the tunnel. It was very nice.
My family was fortunate to visit Myrtle Beach in very early June while the weather was temperate, the prices were less than at peak season, and the crowds were not yet overwhelming. We actually stayed in North Myrtle Beach which seemed to be more family oriented and not quite as crowded. Most of you younger VT travelers would probably prefer to stay closer to Myrtle Beach proper where there is a lot more action.
