We missed our flight and this was the closest to the airport that provided a shuttle and reasonably priced at the time. We were given a distressed rate. The property is well kept and nicely decorated. They give a free continental breakfast with waffles. They also offer breakfast on the go in case you do not have time due to an early flight. The gym was very clean, nice and inviting. Only saw one outdoor pool and barbecue grill. On some nights they offer a get together to meet other guests plus serve hor d'oerves. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Room is nicely laid out and is clean

unfortunately many activities are closed in area but hopefully they will reopen. You will have to find other modes of transportation to get to other areas of the city. They are not on the beach

We are renting a beach house, so we need a swimming pool or water park that is not too expensive, as we will be going several days. I would also like a kid friendly boat ride/cruise where we will see some dolphins.
There's a great water park in Surfside Beach, just south of Myrtle Beach. I can't remember the name, but if you take Highway 17 (take Business 17, NOT the bypass) you can't miss it. It's just past the Carolina Opry on your right.
You must visit 'Broadway at the Beach'.
Broadway has restaurants, shopping, nightclubs, mini-golf,an IMAX theater,and an aquarium, all on miles of boardwalk atop a manmade lake. There are also boatrides on the lake. Something for everyone! Everything! The beautiful beaches, the tranquility at sunrise or sunset. Long walks on the beach,the smell of the air.
The Grand Strand is the collective name of the beaches that stretch 60 miles from Cape Fear, North Carolina to Georgetown, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach, the largest city on the Strand has some 10 million visitors each year.
Before I discovered the fun times in Miami, or the lazy days in the Florida Keys, or even the sparkling Bahamian waters, my paradise was Myrtle Beach. Now that I've grown up a bit, and my tastes have changed, some of the fun I had at this beach has left with the years, but recently I took a couple weekends off to rediscover the South Carolina coast and the activities that surround it.
